The Gellish Syntax document defines the format for all Gellish expressions. The Gellish Taxonomic Dictionary CSV files are expressed conform the Gellish Syntax.
- Gellish Syntax and Contextual Facts – This document defines the Gellish syntax, a tabular standard Gellish Expression format and the meaning of the columns in such a table. The Gellish Expression format tables can be used to specify a database structure or can be exchanged directly as computer interpretable tables.

The Gellish expression table files together form the Gellish taxonomic dictionary of concepts. All concepts in the dictionary are subtypes of the concept ‘anything’, which is the top concept of the taxonomy. The upper ontology and core of the dictionary is provided in the Gellish expression table ‘Formal language definition base’.
